JustMarkets has two completely separate login systems that confuse almost every new trader: the Personal Area web dashboard and the MT4/MT5 trading platform. They use different credentials, different URLs, and different password reset paths. This guide covers both — plus the six errors we see most in support tickets.

Login issues are the most common support ticket category across all forex brokers we review. This guide is based on direct platform testing across three account types and six documented error scenarios, not broker documentation or press releases.
Login Systems

JustMarkets Has Two Separate Login Systems

This is the single most important thing to understand. Your Personal Area password does not work in MT4/MT5, and your MT4/MT5 account number and trading password do not work in Personal Area. They are entirely separate systems.

💡 Where to find your MT4/MT5 credentials

When JustMarkets creates your trading account, it sends an email containing: your account number, server name, and investor (read-only) password. Your trading (master) password is the one you set during registration. Search your inbox for an email from JustMarkets with subject "Trading Account Details" if you can't find it.

Personal Area

How to Log In to JustMarkets Personal Area

1
Go directly to my.justmarkets.com
Do not search "JustMarkets login" in Google — phishing sites rank in search results for broker login queries. Bookmark the official URL: my.justmarkets.com. Verify the URL and SSL certificate before entering credentials.
2
Enter your email and password
Use the email address you registered with and the password you set during sign-up. If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Password on the login page — do not try to guess it, as multiple failed attempts temporarily lock the account.
3
Enter your 2FA SMS code
If 2FA is enabled (recommended), JustMarkets sends a 6-digit code to your registered mobile number. The code expires in 5 minutes. If you don't receive it within 60 seconds, click Resend — don't request it multiple times in quick succession as this triggers a temporary block.
💡 Not receiving the SMS? Check that your number includes the correct country code. Indonesian numbers should be entered as +62 followed by the number without the leading 0.
4
You're in — Personal Area dashboard loads
The dashboard shows your account balance, recent transactions, and quick links to deposit, withdraw, and manage accounts. From here you can also access all account types under your profile and open the JustMarkets web trader.
MT4 & MT5

How to Log In to JustMarkets MT4 or MT5

The MT4/MT5 login is separate from Personal Area and uses your numeric account number, trading password, and server name. All three must match exactly.

1
Open MT4 or MT5 and go to File → Login to Trade Account
In MT4: top menu → File → Login to Trade Account. In MT5: same path. Alternatively, right-click your account in the Navigator panel and select Log In.
2
Enter account number, password, and server
Login field: your numeric account number (found in Personal Area or the account creation email). Password: your trading (master) password set during registration. Server: the exact server name from your account email (e.g. JustMarkets-Live3).
💡 If the server name doesn't appear in the dropdown, click the search field and type "JustMarkets" to load the full server list. Demo accounts use a different server than live accounts — they are not interchangeable.
3
Check the bottom status bar for connection confirmation
After logging in, MT4/MT5 shows a connection status in the bottom-right corner. Green tick = connected. "No connection" or "Invalid account" means one of the three credentials is wrong. The most common mistake is using the demo server name for a live account or vice versa.
⚠ Investor password vs master (trading) password

MT4/MT5 has two passwords per account. The master password allows full trading access. The investor password is read-only — it lets you view positions and history but not execute trades. If you can log in but can't place orders, you've used the investor password instead of the master password. Reset the master password from Personal Area → My Accounts.

Troubleshooting

6 Most Common JustMarkets Login Errors & Fixes

Error 01
"Invalid account" in MT4/MT5
Cause: wrong account number, wrong password, or wrong server. These three credentials must match exactly. Even a single digit error in the account number returns this message.
✓ Fix: Copy the account number from Personal Area (don't type it manually). Confirm the server name by checking your account creation email or searching "JustMarkets" in MT4/MT5.
Error 02
"No connection" in MT4/MT5
Cause: internet connectivity issue, wrong server name, firewall blocking MT4/MT5, or JustMarkets server maintenance. "No connection" and "Invalid account" appear similarly but have different causes.
✓ Fix: Test internet connection first. If connected, try a different server number (JustMarkets-Live2 vs JustMarkets-Live3 etc.). Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall to test if it's blocking the connection. Check JustMarkets social media for maintenance announcements.
Error 03
Personal Area login blocked after failed attempts
Cause: JustMarkets temporarily locks accounts after 5 consecutive failed login attempts as a security measure. The lock is IP-based and lasts 15–30 minutes.
✓ Fix: Wait 30 minutes, then use the Forgot Password flow to reset rather than guessing again. If the lockout persists, contact live support from a different device.
Error 04
2FA SMS code not arriving
Cause: missing country code in registered phone number, SMS blocked by carrier, or phone number changed since registration. Indonesian numbers registered without +62 prefix often fail SMS delivery.
✓ Fix: Wait 60 seconds before requesting a resend. Check your number includes the full international dialling code. If the number has changed, contact JustMarkets support with identity verification to update it — this cannot be done self-service.
Error 05
Can log in but can't place trades in MT4/MT5
Cause: logged in with investor (read-only) password instead of master (trading) password. The investor password allows account viewing only — the trade buttons are greyed out.
✓ Fix: Log out of MT4/MT5, log back in with your master (trading) password. If you've forgotten it, reset from Personal Area → My Accounts.
Error 06
Demo credentials not working on live server
Cause: demo account credentials (server, account number, password) are separate from live account credentials. Attempting to log in to a live server with demo credentials — or vice versa — always fails.
✓ Fix: Match your credentials to the correct account type. In Personal Area, check which server is listed for each account. Demo servers contain "Demo" in the name; live servers do not.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the JustMarkets Personal Area login URL?
The official URL is my.justmarkets.com. Bookmark it directly — do not rely on search engine results for broker login pages, as phishing sites commonly rank for broker login queries.
Why won't MT4/MT5 connect to JustMarkets?
The three most common causes: wrong server name, wrong account number (one digit off), or using demo credentials on a live server. Check all three against the account creation email sent by JustMarkets. If the server doesn't appear in the dropdown, search "JustMarkets" in the broker search field within MT4/MT5.
How do I reset my JustMarkets MT4/MT5 password?
Log in to Personal Area at my.justmarkets.com → My Accounts → click the three-dot menu next to your account → Change Password. The new password takes effect within seconds. You do not need to reinstall MT4/MT5.
What is the investor password for?
The investor password gives read-only access to your trading account in MT4/MT5. You can view open positions, trade history, and account balance but cannot execute new trades or close existing ones. It's useful for sharing account access with a signal provider, account manager, or copy trading service without giving full trading control.
How do I set up 2FA on JustMarkets?
Go to Personal Area → Settings → Security → enable two-factor authentication. Each login will require a 6-digit SMS code sent to your registered phone number. If you lose access to your phone number, contact JustMarkets support with identity verification to update it.
I don't have an account yet — how do I register?
Registration is free and takes under 5 minutes. No deposit required to create an account. Full sign up guide →
